Overnight Oats

Overnight oats are simply oats that have been soaked overnight to absorb the liquid you put 19805888_sthem in – any kind of liquid you like! I love is as there’s NO COOKING INVOLVED! It’s a great option for summer where, its too warm for porridge, but you still want that oaty goodness! I think that it’s a great breakfast grab – you make it the evening before and its all ready and waiting for you in the fridge!   • 1/2 cup (125ml/115g) Milk (any milk you like – skimmed, semi skimmed, soya, almond)

  • 1/2 cup (40g) Oats (not instant)

  • 1/2 cup (100-120g/125ml) Yogurt (you can use any variety but I love fat free vanilla or coconut yoghurt)

  • Pinch of Cinnamon


  1. Mix the ingredients the night before – I mix them in a food container as it’s air tight and ready to take to work!

  2. Make it airtight if you haven’t made it in a container (use cling film) and pop in the fridge

  3. Good morning – add your toppings / flavours and you’re a happy morning bunny!
